What you find on this page

TV card
Set a readable name, check address and identity, and choose protection for that screen.

Watched state
Shows whether Velmo sees the TV. A powered-off screen stays listed but creates no activity.

Coloured mode
This is the actual mode for that TV. Open Mode or its card if unexpected.

Declare / dismiss
Declare only recognised devices; dismiss a proposal that should not be managed.

Activity reads the last 24 hours without becoming an unreadable log.

Dialix

Tune the TV while you watch

Dialix is a game: from your phone or computer, while you watch, a radar shows the names the TV is talking to right now, and one tap blocks or reopens a name.

Notice and TV
Each game starts with a notice that blocking a name can stop playback. Pick the TV: you play on one at a time, and at least one TV must be connected to the VELMO network.

Radar and family
The radar shows families of names. Tap a family to enter: names stay still, one per row, and you decide on a single name, never on the whole family.

One tap, one list entry
Blocking or reopening a name writes to your lists at once, exactly as the Lists page does. A reopened name returns only when the app retries: sometimes you must reopen the app.

Score, bars and PANIC
The bars show the service arriving and what leaves without delivering content; the score grows with useless names blocked. PANIC puts everything back as it was before the game.

Profile

Share behaviour, not history

A profile describes a TV model’s behaviour without sending what or when you watched.

Home network
Choose wired WAN or Wi‑Fi for the intranet connection.

VELMO network
TVs use two LAN ports and VELMO Wi‑Fi, separate from home devices.

Device limit
Set how many new devices may join VELMO; existing ones are not evicted.

Maintenance
Status, USB storage, restart and reset are here. Wait for velmo-one.local after network changes.
